Description
Also called as the blind stem wedge gate valve and the rotary stem gate valve. In this valve, the stem turns to open and shut the disc or gate. However, the stem does not go up nor down as it rotates. This means that as the stem rotates, it motions towards or away from the valve, which further controls the gate to open or shut media flow.
The main advantage of a non-rising stem gate valve is it takes up little space. This means that it is well-suited for applications that have limited space.
This gate valve is recommended for media that does not cause erosion, corrosion, or any condition that could damage the stem material.
